A Little About Me...

Hey there, I’m Paige! I’m a fourth year student at the University of Colorado Boulder studying computer science and marketing.

I love product design because it is the perfect combination of art, business, and engineering. It has given me opportunities to find creative ways to help others and solve problems. I love brainstorming hundreds of solutions to a problem in order to find the perfect fit. And the best part is, the job is never over! There's always more to learn, enhance, and change in future iterations.

My Values:

🧐 Lifelong Learning
There will never be a point in life where I know everything there is to know. This is why I challenge myself to expand my knowledge in many different ways, by competing in case competitions, listening to podcasts, completing random projects (within UX design as well as other areas), and meeting new people.

😁 Approach Problems with Humor and Positivity
It’s scientifically proven that laughter improves our health by releasing endorphins and relieving physical tension. I find my sense of humor and positivity helps me live in the moment, perform at my peak, and move past setbacks. Humor has helped me relate easily with others, creating a sense of community between me and my peers and teammates. My life would be dull without humor and that’s no laughing matter!

🤝 Collaboration is Key
By working with a team of others with a diverse skill set, we are able to create a more well rounded solution that will fully address a problem in an efficient manner. It also creates more diverse ideas with many different perspectives being included. And its a lot more fun!

Fun Facts:

Outside of work and school, I am a huge book and movie nerd. Some of my favorite reads include The Selection by Kiera Cass, The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid, and 101 Essays That Will Change The Way You Think by Brianna Wiest.

As a Colorado native, I also love to stay active and get outdoors. I love to snowboard, hike, and go paddle boarding. I also love to travel have been to 23 national parks and 16 countries! In fact, in 2023, I lived abroad in Sweden while studying at Uppsala University for a semester.
